Sunday School at Knox
Faith formation that’s so much fun, you’ll want to do it, too.
Sunday School at Knox is all about building your children’s faith in ways that are memorable, fun—and shareable as a family. During the summer, Sunday School is offered for are available for kindergarten through fifth grade. Children worship with their parents during the first portion of the 10:00am worship hour in the Sanctuary, then adjourn during the sermon for a special summer class in the adjacent Knox Commons.
Professionally prepared curricula in Knox Sunday School ensures that your child learns basic Biblical principles that will help him or her build a lifetime of meaningful faith.
Your children are always welcome in worship, but in the Fall, Winter and Spring, we invite all children to take a break from Sunday School and attend a special Family Worship Hour that’s designed to help acclimate them to worship in “big church”. Family Worship Hours are held at both the Fresh Spirit and Traditional Worship services. Your children also will enjoy – and learn from – the “Words with the Wise” segments in both worship services.
The KidCheck secure check-in/check-out system is used for all class through grade five to help ensure your child’s safety while you worship, and to notify you if you need to pay a visit to the classroom.
