Growing in faith is a year-round thing at Knox Church. While we’re taking a break from our usual Fall and Winter faith formation rhythms, we still have a cooler full of delicious summertime learning opportunities for your family.
Summer Sunday School and worship
During the summer, we have one worship service at 10:00am. Children kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to worship with their parents in the first part of the service, then will adjourn to the adjacent Knox Commons for Sunday School.
Childcare is provided for the wee ones, too.
Rev. Adam Fronczek will host four informal gatherings in the Social Hall this summer that are intended to strengthen our understanding of the Bible and our purpose as individual people and a community of faith. Gatherings will be held July 11,18, 25 and August 1; each will begin at 5:30pm with light snacks, and discussion will follow at approximately 6:00pm.
The gatherings will stand alone since many of us travel or have other commitments. Come to three of the four gatherings or come to just one!
- You will learn something about the Bible. Adam will teach a story or important series of stories at each gathering.
- Expect to participate and meet new people. The best way for teaching to be meaningful is for you to listen and speak to each other.
- Children’s activities will be available for kids through 12 years of age—including a pizza supper. There is no charge for this.
- Bring a friend. If you’ve been looking for a way to invite somebody to check out Knox—this is a good time to do it.
