The American Nursing Associations describes faith community nursing as “the specialized practice of professional nursing that focuses on the intentional care of the spirit as part of the process of promoting wholistic health and preventing or minimizing illness in a faith community.” Pam serves our congregation primarily as a healthcare navigator and advocate; she is well-informed by her experience serving in acute care settings including NICU, Pediatric Inpatient Psyche, Adolescent Residential Treatment, and Alzheimer’s Care. Personal experiences advocating for loved ones facing serious illness have also enhanced Pam’s service to our faith community. Pam resides in Mt. Lookout with her husband and their beloved pets. They have two adult daughters, Casey and Annie.
