Knox is a very busy and vibrant place on Sunday mornings! Below is our schedule of worship services and events to help you get to where you want to be. The summer schedule lasts from Sunday June 3rd through Sunday September 2nd
During the summer months, from Sunday June 12th through Sunday September 4th, the congregation of Knox will participate in the Summer Worship experience. Liturgy will have a new feel, music will be of different varieties each week, and the congregation will come together for a single service at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary.
During the summer months, child care and Sunday school will be available for infants through children in 4th grade.
Following Summer worship, join us for Lemonade on the Lawn at 11:00 am on the Knox front Lawn. Refreshments are served as the congregation and visitors share in fellowship time in the sun! Please join us in the Knox Commons if weather becomes a factor.
Fresh Spirit is a worship service to help you deepen your Christian faith, explore your own spiritual being, and connect the Gospels to your life today. In a warm, welcoming and informal church service, you’ll find a vibrant, enthusiastic gathering with great contemporary music, meaningful messages and engaging worship. Our traditional worship reflects a “reformed and reforming” worship tradition, in part because our congregation includes many members uniting from other faith backgrounds and diverse Protestant traditions. Our worship blends formal and informal elements with a long tradition of strong, solid theological preaching. Music in worship is a distinctive mark of Knox Church. The Knox Choir, which includes more than 70 voices, is integral to worship. In addition, the Children’s Choir, Youth Choir and Adult Handbell Choir participate in Sunday worship on a monthly basis. Learn about the Knox Choir here.
Each Sunday we hear another inspiring, thoughtful and thought-provoking sermon. Have you ever wished you could delve more deeply into some of the ideas, issues and questions raised by the message? Please join us for a new Adult Education offering, Coffee and Conversation at 11:00 am as we meet each Sunday to share our reactions to the sermon, and pick up some new insights.Read more about all of our Adult Education opportunities here.
