Fresh Spirit Worship (Knox Commons)

Fresh Spirit is a worship service to help you deepen your Christian faith, explore your own spiritual being, and connect the Gospels to your life today. In a warm, welcoming and informal church service, you’ll find a vibrant, enthusiastic gathering with great contemporary music, meaningful messages and engaging worship. Find out more about Fresh Spirit here.

Adult Education (Session Room and Knox Room)

There are two Adult Educational offerings at 9:15 am. Scripture & Culture is an Adult Education offering led by our resident scholar Holly Toensing. Throughout the year we invite you to join us for a look at scripture and its meaning for us today. We explore the historical and literary context and seek to appreciate its relevance to modern readers.

The second class is 21st Century Religion and Faith, which meets in the Knox Room. This class offers an opportunity to look an array of topics that intersect with Christianity, and to give a progressive voice to issues of ethics, politics, religion and theology.Read more about all of our Adult Education opportunities here.

Sunday School is available at 9:15 am for children 3 years old through sixth grade. Children may begin the hour in Fresh Spirit worship to parcipate in the "Time With Children" after which they will be dismissed to their classes. Traditional Worship (Knox Sanctuary)

Our traditional worship reflects a “reformed and reforming” worship tradition, in part because our congregation includes many members uniting from other faith backgrounds and diverse Protestant traditions. Our worship blends formal and informal elements with a long tradition of strong, solid theological preaching. Music in worship is a distinctive mark of Knox Church. The Knox Choir, which includes more than 70 voices, is integral to worship. In addition, the Children’s Choir, Youth Choir and Adult Handbell Choir participate in Sunday worship on a monthly basis. Learn about the Knox Choir here.

Adult Education (Session Room)

Each Sunday we hear another inspiring, thoughtful and thought-provoking sermon. Have you ever wished you could delve more deeply into some of the ideas, issues and questions raised by the message? Please join us for a new Adult Education offering, Coffee and Conversation at 11:00 am as we meet each Sunday to share our reactions to the sermon, and pick up some new insights.Read more about all of our Adult Education opportunities here.

Sunday School (Knox Classrooms)

Sunday School is available at 11:00 am for children 3 years old through 12th grade. Children may begin the hour in traditional worship to parcipate in the "Time With Children" after which they will be dismissed to their classes. Child Care is also available at 11:00 am for infants in the Nursery, and toddlers in the Muscle Room (108).Read more about Knox's Christian Education programs here.
