Get Involved at Knox Church

Stewardship

The mission at Knox is to be a joyful community of Christian faith, a growing reflection of God’s love. Your gift to Knox as a member or friend is a personal expression of faith and support for this mission, including its ministry and congregation.

We come into this world with God-given gifts and talents; returning a portion of the fruits of those gifts for God’s work helps the Knox ministry grow, helps the congregation flourish, and helps to spread the resulting care and support throughout the broader community.

In addition to your time and talents, giving to Knox involves support of the day to day operation of the church and its ministries and mission; the long term security of the church; and the “bricks and mortar” needs for our house of worship.

If you are interested in making a monetary donation to Knox, please see the Financial Gifts page and/or contact either of Knox's Pastors or Renche LeRoux our Financial Secretary. If you would like to make a donation of time and talents, find out how you can get involved at Knox!

This Year's Pledge Emphasis

Stewardship Logo 2010

Our unique mission of sharing God’s salvation message distinguishes the church from other philanthropic organizations.

Through Christ, we have been enlightened to share this message of love, forgiveness, compassion and reconciliation. As members of Knox Church we are a part of this mission, which involves giving of ourselves and our resources---giving without fear because we know God promises to sustain us.

When asked to consider both your non-monetary commitments and financial pledges this fall, we hope that you will see yourself as the light of the world. Because you are. And because of this distinct designation, we encourage you to give your best to the church through your tithes and offerings.

The Stewardship Committee believes that as our stewardship focus shifts more and more from fund-raising to faith-raising, giving will become a spiritual practice that not only enhances our personal lives but also the life and growth of the church.

As we commit individually and corporately to support God’s work through Knox, we become “members of one another and one body in Christ,” as Paul told Christ’s early followers.
