Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one ministry by trained, caring lay people. At
work in over 6,000 churches in 70+ denominations, it is a commitment to
caring and supporting one another. Stephen Ministry addresses the needs of those who are hospitalized or shut in, grieving the loss of a loved one, lonely or depressed, separated or divorced. Stephen Ministers relate to those who are dying, as well as the families of those who are terminally ill. Following 50 hours of training, the Stephen Minister serves as an extended arm of God's love as we seek to continue to minister to one another. |
