A community outreach program, the Knox Music Series presents sacred choral/orchestral masterworks featuring the Knox Choir, soloists and orchestra, and organ concertos, offering the community a rewarding musical experience in Knox’s intimate and acoustically laudable sanctuary. For 36 years the Series has been recognized for its contributions to the quality of life of greater Cincinnati residents.

Knox Music Series takes you on a musical trip to Salzburg

You can make a visit to Salzburg with Mozart when you attend the next concert from in Knox Music Series. The Knox Choir, Soloists and Chamber Orchestra will present “Mozart in Salzburg” on at 4:00pm on Sunday, March 6, with Earl Rivers conducting.

The afternoon will feature a wide range of Mozart’s works, including the Missa Brevis in F Major K. 192; Vespers (Vesperae solennes de Dominica) K. 321; Church Sonata in D Major K. 245 (Christina Haan, organ). You also will hear Tartini’s Trumpet Concerto in D Major (Dan Grantham, trumpet).
